Today we had an early start so we could get to Marree on time. We said goodbye to our loving billet families. On the way we ran into a major problem. The AC in the bus was spewing out a gooey substance and it leaked everywhere!! So we had to wait for two and a half hours in the middle of nowhere but to our surprise we had a lot of fun building a mini house out of rocks, tumble weeds and dirt/sand. We eventually set off again thanks to Jill and John because they cleaned up all the disgusting ooze. We set out to a large area where many springs once thrived but now there are only a few springs left. One of these springs was called The Bubbler. It was filled with water! We then left to Lake Eyre South and then found ourselves in Marree where we set up camp and ended the day there.
