Today we have a change of direction. Instead of telling you exactly what happened, we're going to tell you all the bad things that happened to us in the last 6 days.
Day 1: Elliot - We woke up quite early to get on the plane on time. Whilst on the plane, it was kind of a relaxing ride until the plane's air pressure caused Aren's bottle to squirt water everywhere when he opened it. It only got me wet.
Day 2: Owen and Elliot - the heat. Owen, When we went to Ormiston Gorge, while I was climbing down the rocks I slipped over.
Day 3: Owen and Elliot - the heat. Elliot - As I was walking out of the bus to visit Hermannsburg Historical Precinct, I decided to unconsciously walk into the bus, leaving a large bruise on my head and the dizzy feeling you get when you hit your head (parents - its ok, he's fine). Owen - walking into the cafe and seeing chocolate milk and not being able to have it.
Day 4: Owen and Elliot - the heat. Owen and Elliot - at the Telegraph Station we're not sure if the heat got to us but we decided at the gift shop to spend our money on two rubber snakes and later that day at the pool Elliot was nearly drowned when people accidentally stepped on me and I hit my head on the bottom of the pool (parents - please note this vastly exaggerated and he is still absolutely fine).
Day 5: Owen and Elliot - the heat. Owen - having to stand up all the time at the concert and only being able to get one bottle of water.
Day 6: Owen and Elliot - the heat. Elliot - with the little money I had, I decided to buy a reptile hat and now I slightly regret it. Owen - having to pack up to leave.
Quote of the week: James Allpress "when you want to go into your tent but your tent isn't there anymore"
This is the best blog post yet !!! Stay cool boys, have fun and drink lots of water 👍👌
Life's tough!
So tough, the tent decided to up and leave in search of a chocolate milk.
Just make sure your underpants don't abandon you in all this heat...and your socks...
James' mum here: would love to hear more about the case of the disappearing tent. Perhaps the poor thing's fed up with those stinky feet of yours and got up and left!? (-;
No sympathy from Melbourne about the heat - freezing here as per usual! Actually I exaggerate - the sun's come out at least for a second :-)
Hilarious boys! What a hard time you are having, haha !!
