Today we went to the School of the Air. We first had a tour of the facility and watched a movie to tell us more about the School and then watched a live class and saw how they actually ran a class. And then we performed for the school assembly and it was fun to see them laugh and there were lots of comments. And then just before we left for the next place we had a little souvenir shop.

The we bussed to the Telegraph Station and had a tour of the place and learned about it form one of the rangers there. We discovered that Alice Springs is just a big hole that had been full of rain when it was discovered and not really a spring. Then we went for another little shop.

Then we went back to camp and had a lovely swim in the pool and had heaps of fun going down the water slide.

Then we bussed to the Royal Flying Doctor Service and had a tour and watched a movie about it which was holographic and then had a roam through the museum and learned about more history and important people. And then we had a little shop.

And then we took the bus back to our campsite and had a bit of free time before we had a reptile show come to us and learned about the reptiles native to Alice Springs and we got to hold a snake. It was an Olive Python. And then once the reptile show finished we had dinner and we had corned beef and vegies.

Then it was pretty much time to knock out and get some rest for the next day.
