Early in the morning we woke up and struck our tents to the ground and loaded the bus and ate breakfast and hopped on the bus.
It was a very long trip – most people slept. The country we drove through was very arid. We saw some camels. Lots of dry land and some mountains and rocks. It wasn’t very interesting. We had a section of two hours’ straight bus driving and then we had a break for lunch at Mt Ebenezer Roadhouse. After lunch we went into the store there where there was a section of Aboriginal Art and spears and boomerangs, emu eggs, digeridoos and paintings.
Then we hopped in the bus for another two hours and arrived at Kings Canyon Resort. When we arrived, we unpacked the tents and put them up then later that day we went to the pool but everyone was very scared to go in because it was so freezing. We went for a sunset walk and came back surrounded by dingoes. We had a delicious dinner of nachos and then we celebrated Denzel’s birthday and we all grabbed a piece of cake and a chocolate bar and went to sleep.
We are having lots of fun and everything is going fine.
