Day 8 from Harry & Hamish

Today we get up,

racing against time,

To get to Kings Canyon

before it closes at nine.

We shovel our breakfast

in and jump on our coach.

The eggs that we had

this morning were poached.

We departed at eight,

and prayed we weren't late,

to get to the park on time.

We walked up the stairs

until our legs flared

then finally arrived at the top.

The sights they were stunning

but we had to keep running

'cause we knew at the end we would flop.

The heat was catering our thirst

and we wanted to have a swim first.

Eden was nice and

we wished we went twice

but still couldn't wait to get back.

We finally arrived,

all took a dive

and plummeted in head first.
